we’re back!

Egads feels like we’ve been gone forever. Thursday last Rae and I took off for a night at church family camp, complete with bbq sausage+ancient black and white movie called Green Pastures.Then to Bend for a day of helping set up for Lydia’s wedding, and eating lots of food, saturday was more setup and the wedding itself which went off very well and the newlyweds disappeared into the night with melting ice cream on their car amidst the fuming smoke of a hundred burning sparklers. Yesterday morning we awoke at a mere 6am to pile into Kevin’s truck and hit the road for Sunstone country, after a mere 5 hours driving, 5 hours hunting, and 8 hours home, (plus a stop for dinner) we arrived home at 12:30 this morning, having only refilled both the radiator and the right rear tire (though not with the same substance) at different intervals, with a new found appreciation for Portland area gas prices, a large bag of sunstones, and only a minor lack of sleep. 🙂
On a different note, I have to change my password at work this week, which makes me sad because my old one was so clever, fuzzyewoks, made me smile every time I typed it. I would like my new one to have the same positive effect, but am drawing a blank this morning. Any of our faithful readers have an idea? Can anyone think of a good-for-moral password?
