Mexico Pics

As promised here are some more Mexico pics. As time and interest allows I will upload more.

This is Erma. She is a 76-year-old, (right Rae?) Canandian, ball of fire. All energy and evangelism. She lives in Vincente Guerrero and ministers to pretty much whomever she comes across, organizes kid ministries and lately has started a few building projects. We built her a roof for her leaky fifth wheel trailer that she lives in.

I’m actually not sure who all these people are. Some are from the family that lives in the house behind them. Seven kids all sleeping on cardboard on dirt floors. We bought wood and helped the father (Martin) build them some bunk beds, some food, and some soap. They braided Kathy’s hair, played with us, and fed us tortillas.

This is Victor. He is 17, married to a 16-year-old, and they have 2 kids with another on the way. The shelves in the back ground were another of our projects. This couple really amazed us with their faith in God. I’ll have to get Rae to tell you more about them.

This is Jim, the one in our group that I said wasn’t in our group pictures. He marches to the beat of his own drum…

And finally here is my lovely wife in her cute Mexico dress and sporting her new short hair-do. What a knock-out!
