Rain, Trees, Wind, Kids, Bellies…

So last night it rained:

Then the wind blew really hard and…:

We are very lucky that the tree just missed our plum tree:

And it also just missed the neighbor’s shed:

The power was out all night, but it came back on about 8 this morning.

For those of you wondering if I’m getting fat yet… only sorta. I was going to post a picture, but there isn’t enough change for you to tell. Really, I look bigger in person! 😉

Here’s a picture of the munchkins I”m off to babysit in an hour! The girls were pretending to go swimming in the living room. So cute!

By the way, are the pictures big enough for you guys to see ok? Also, who wants to come out and chop up a tree tomorrow or Sunday!??? 😉 Brian talked to our neighbor (whose fence is broken) and he’s a grandpa who owns a landscaping business. Maybe this is going to work out real well! 🙂 Pray for good relations there. So far we’ve decided that the fence is indeed pulled up and that we collectively will start fixing things up tomorrow… and we’ll see what he says about who pays for the fence! He kinda offered his truck for hauling stuff… we shall see!

Well, although I didn’t get any comments on the blog, two people said the pictures were too small, so here you go! I use an automatic resizer, because it’s easier, and this is the next size up. For those of you with really small resolution (mom!) it’ll mess up your side-bar I think, but the pictures are worth it, no? 🙂

An update: Brian and I decided that a chain-saw would be a worthwhile purchase. We will use it a bunch if we get the woodstove we want, so it’s not like this is the only tree we’ll be chopping. (Make that Brian doing the chopping – he’s such a sexy lumberjack!)

for what its worth now, the current image sizes look good with our resolutions!!

I like the images bigger too. Although I can’t believe the tree was really that big and still missed the shed.

It really is amazing nothing got squashed and that it’s only the fence that’s broken. We haven’t seen the neighbor since that morning, so I’m still wondering if he’s planning on paying for his fence.

Gonna take Razzie to the vet today. I want her ears to get better!!!

I think it MUST be pregnancy+this winter. I’ve even been taking my prenatals regularly and everything…maybe they’re the culprits! 🙂 I didn’t realize our due dates were so close. Have fun with your classes. I loved reading the bradley books more than our lamaze training, really helped me with David…
