So it’s been a little while since *I* (meaning Brian, that’s me) has posted. This is of course partially Rachel’s fault. She has been hinting, nay, I might even say, suggesting that I should post. But on the other hand who can compete with all her cutesy pictures of Anna? Ah well, what with getting all my “papa time” in the evenings and rushing about like a chicken with my head cut off on the weekends I have had little time for posting or doing anything worth posting about. However with the rainingness this week and spurt of energy last weekend (and our first one home in a while) and with the fact that I finally beat Fable, I have been restarting a few of my old projects. For example on last friday night I refactored the GUI toolkit for the computer game project. Ahem, but you probly don’t want to hear about that. In more interesting news, at least pictorially, I will show you the progress on the garage. It may not be that evident but if you look closely you will see that almost even nook and cranny, and in fact the entire ceiling, is covered with R13 pink panther, fuzzy-wuzzy-comes-in-a-giant-cinnamon-roll-shape, insulation.
That’s the pile of sheet rock ready to get put up.
My nifty-wifty 1800W in wall heater. (haven’t used it all yet)
The stairs to the loft. I’m ready to build the stairs down to the main floor now, so pretty soon no more giant step and wobbly wood stacked there!
There you have it folks, hope you got your fill of unnecessary parenthetical statements and sentence fragments!
Hey Brian – about time we got something besides “baby pictures”!! JK 🙂 It looks great, looks like you are doing a swell job! You all should be nice and toasty warm with fuzzy insulation and the powerful 1800 watt heater that you haven’t tried yet! When is the sheet rocking party?!
yay!
Brian made a post.
Certainly not baby pictures but it still made me happy.
Glad things are happening with your garage 😀
