I don’t know if these are true, but they are interesting:
A duck’s quack doesn’t echo, and no one knows why.
All porcupines float in water.
Every day more money is printed for Monopoly than the US Treasury.
Clans of long ago that wanted to get rid of their unwanted people (without killing them) used to burn their houses down – hence the term “to get fired.”
The phrase “sleep tight” drives from the fact that early mattresses were filled with straw and held up with ropes stretched across the bedframe. A tight sleep was a comfortable sleep.
She’ll never be big enough to reach the footrest…
Did you need something mama?
On the motorcycle with uncle Neal a few weeks ago:
In other news, she is right on track with her size. That is, she’s almost 6 months old and she’s almost needing to get into the 6-9 month clothes. Brilliant! 🙂 So cute.
Brian is 99% done with putting up sheetrock. It looks GREAT! The only reason he isn’t finished is because we got sidetracked by bringing old lumber in from under the cedar tree and sawing it to bits. Why? Because we’re buying a woodstove after all! Yippee! A carport isn’t just for parking in anymore. It is now a woodshed too! We seek assistance again – we need a truck to help pick up the thing! (235 lbs.)
Ummmmm…. I think that’s it. 😀
That’s my girl! The bug-eyed princess.
ooo! we have a truck rachel!
i think she will be big enough…hopefully by the time she’s our age she’ll be big enough. if not, well, i guess she could find work at the circus. 😉
is that mean? sorry if it was.
love ya.
em
Em — what on earth are you talking about???? Who’s gonna work at the circus, your truck? and is your truck a female? And I don’t think it’s mean to talk about your truck that way. She won’t care 😉
Yes Brian — someone will write a song about “Anna Davis Eyes” — I can almost hear the tune even! hehe… She does have the Davis eyes and they’re going to be a force to be reckoned with in about 16 years 😉
I think (I hope) Em was talking about Anna’s short legs which will never reach to the footrest on her highchair. I’m looking forward to hearing the song… hopefully it’s not called bug-eyed anything! hehe
