Morrowind

In an effort to bury my grumpy post about people who love phones more than life itself, I will write a cheerful, happy post about, you guessed it, I have no idea.

I had a great day! I had a nice hot shower during Anna’s nap. I read part of Acts this morning… the part where Paul and Silas left Macedonia and went… umm… to some other places and preached the Gospel. I’ve been trying to actually remember some of what I’ve been reading during my morning devotions – obviously I need to work harder on that. I do remember that yesterday’s reading had them in Macedonia and they got thrown in prison. That’s when the earthquake set them free, but they went and stopped the jailkeeper from killing himself and preached to him and his family instead. God does some amazing things.

Brian’s playing the xbox version of Morrowind right now. Anna is sleeping peacefully. We went on a walk this afternoon. I visited Hollie today! I enjoy going to their house. Roy looked like a gnome today. He had on a green stocking hat that stuck up. He was home sick today; i shouldn’t make fun of him.

I did some school with Jackie today. I chit-chatted with Hollie and Roy about moving/not moving and adoption. We talked about how Brian and I are participating in the Swart Survival Weekend Program at the end of this month. You can pray for us. We’ll be locked in the house with their five kids from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. Who can save us??? AH! hehe So yep, we’re going from one kid to six for a weekend. If we still want more kids after that, then it must really be meant to be.

Tomorrow we are going to work in the garage and go to Next Adventure so Brian can get some new cross-country ski boots and bindings with his birthday money. He’ll also get his guitar restrung so he can start practicing again.

He’s going to let me play Morrowind at 9. Lovely. I hope Anna sleeps good tonight. She woke up an hour earlier than her early this morning. I’m not sure why. She didn’t seem hungry, but I could be wrong. I’m going to attempt to feed her at a certain time every morning so hopefully her body “feels” hungry about the same time every morning and she sleeps more consistently. I’ll let you know how that goes!

Anna is incredible. She really is. And she’s beautiful. Absolutely stunning. I love to see her little legs. And she crawls so fast! She stands up easily. She laughs often and squeal/squeaks even more. She is my perfect little one. She is already growing up too fast. The other day she was soooo tired from all we had done so I held her and rocked her… and she leaned her head against me and sucked her thumb while we rocked and rocked. She relaxed and her eyes closed. My little angel was all warm and relaxed against me. It was heaven.

I’m adding a few new blog links to the list on the right – enjoy.
