Bone Marrow Donation

If you are between 18 and 61 years old, you can donate bone marrow to a person who needs a bone marrow donation to save their life.

If you register before September 22nd (that’s next Monday) then you can register for free (usually costs about $52 but there’s a sponsor covering that cost).

If you are a match with somebody, you will give to them in one of two ways – one that is from your blood and one that is from your bones. Look at this page for more specifics:

I got tuned into this information while reading a blog post by “Confessions of a CF Husband,” a blog written by a man whose wife has cystic fibrosis.

It is a time commitment, but it’s also important. Think about it.
