I know that oftentimes

I know that oftentimes things have to get messier before they get cleaner, but this is ridiculous! And I knew that we had accumulated quite a bit of stuff, but this is incredible! I have cleaned out the cupboards and closets to much closer to essentials. I mean, we still have everything we need to live here for four months without probably missing any of it.

THE LIVING ROOM IS HALF FULL OF BOXES. That is WAY TOO MUCH non-essentials! Maybe moving (or preparing to move) is God’s way of reminding us that stuff really isn’t that important. I mean, really… this stuff is more of a burden! Because I don’t want to get rid of it! I still feel that it has some value to me… even packaged where I can’t see it or remember what it is unless I read the description on the top of the box.

Whatever am I going to do with these boxes anyway? Our home looks mostly much better now! That is, it looks very comfortable and fairly clean. Definitely it’s uncluttered. (Unless you are talking about the office, and that’s just… unspeakably awfully messy and crammed) I suppose I will clean up the office next, working from the top down and see if there is room to put them in there. There won’t be time for playing xbox this weekend! Brian is working hard on installing a new surround in our bathtub. Pray that it goes up ok!!! We’re also hoping to get Anna’s new/old bedframe from Grandma and Grandpa this weekend. It’s the same frame that Brian used to use.

Wish I had some pictures for you, but all I have pictures of these days is craigslist stuff. 🙂
