Colds stink.
Can’t wait til I feel human again.
I made some diaper liners today out of thin fleece. I’m going to boil some now to see if that makes them more suitable. (They have to be washed a bunch of times or moisture just rolls right off it instead of passing through to the other side where the absorbent material is… maybe boiling them once instead of washing them six times?)
Anna wants to play outside.
I want to lay on the couch.
Our house has its second showing on Saturday afternoon.
I love Ovaltine.
ovaltine takes getting used to. If I have it a bunch of times then I like it, but thinking about it makes me not like it…odd
so second showing. COOL!!!!
so sick. BUMMER.
I have no idea about the fleece. I do know that it sheds water well. Hopefully your boiling is more productive than washing. Maybe felted wool would be better? How’d you come up with this idea? Are you making your own diapers?????
oh, and I wish our residences were closer together. I’d really love to get these pink frilly things out of my house! They’re so out of place.
I wish we lived closer too! I often think of that with my mommy friends especially. You clean my house and I’ll clean yours. hehe So sad you don’t like ovaltine. But lower demand would make the price be lower if the free market were left alone, so that makes me happy.
For the cloth diaper liners, I bought some kinda like this (http://www.kellyscloset.com/bumGenius-Stay-Dry-Liners-6-pack_p_3312.html) but made my own because it’s cheaper. (got 28 out of one yard and didn’t even have to sew it) Wish I could find thinner fleece or something, but these really work great after they are beaten up in the wash enough. 😀
