I can’t remember which great-grandma made this beautiful little outfit and matching blanket for Anna. We never got a good picture of Anna in it, and Maggie is pretty much grown out if it too! But we finally have a few pictures to remember them wearing it. Too bad we didn’t take pictures when she was a tiny, but it is still pretty adorable!
Beautiful, wiggly girl:
I keep trying to escape my bonnet!
And I like to pull my booties off.
Remember this blog post? It’s the one about the caterpillar turned chrysalid that we found last September. That’s right, it’s from BEFORE Maggie was born.
Last night when I was just starting to do the dishes, I glanced at the jar where it’s been for the last bajillion years and THERE WAS A BUTTERFLY IN IT! It was gorgeous! We enjoyed it, took pictures and deposited it on our rhododendron bush. 🙂
Cool Mom!

Jumping for joy:
EW! I’m glad you can teach Anna that butterflies are ok. I tense up when Guy tries to catch them. Ick. I think I’m doing pretty well tho since I don’t freak out when he squishes spiders with his bare toes and fingers. *Shudder*
Oh, and that is pretty cool that the caterpillar lived & turned into a butterfly and that you noticed before it died in there! 🙂
Yah Butterfly!
I love the outfit, Maggie! And wow – so cool about the butterfly! Gorgeous thing! We do an exercise with my 3 & 4 year olds where they are a caterpillar, then they go in their cocoon, and then they become butterflies!! Fun to see it for real now! 🙂
