Good news!!! Our dossier was reviewed by the MOJ (Ministry of Justice) and approved on Friday! That means that we have our “verbal referral” for the boys! Yahoo!!!! In three weeks time, our facilitator will have the official referrals in hand and we will be sooooo close to traveling. I am so ready to get a move on… so ready to meet our boys. Honestly, I am ready to bring them home; past ready. A friend who was in process of adopting both little boys that we almost adopted… lost one of her boys. Little Jacob is home with his Father and his family never got to meet him.
A friend was excited with me that we are so close to meeting our boys! “It’s so close!” she said. But part of me wasn’t excited at all. I wondered about that for a few days. I can put words to that feeling a little better now. I am past ready, overdone-ready, was ready a long time ago, ready. The excitement gained from slow progress on paperwork is not cutting it for me any more. I need to get to my boys now. My prayers involve a whole lotta asking God for faith in His plan, His timing, His purpose. Because I know He knows, because I know He cares, and because I know He is not out of control, even if I don’t have any control.
