Maggie is Two!

Just noticed that I had a broken link a few days back to Valenz, our “Christmas boy.” Here’s the fixed link!

Jordan news: We hope to get news of a judge assignment this week. We also hope that the judge tells us when our court date will be. Praying for a court date in October! Jordan is 2 1/2. I want him to have his first Christmas here… this year. Praying he’s home in November. The Lord knows, our Father cares; He will do what is best. We are hopeful that Brian’s Mom will be making the trip with Brian to pick up Jordan. That would make the trip SO much easier, but still allow me to stay home with the girls and remain un-jet-lagged. (nice word, huh?) Hope I have a big court date announcement here soon! (travel is 2-5 weeks after court. Probably 3-4)

Maggie awaited her birthday party with anticipation – standing on top of the toy kitchen behind the curtains. (Ok, so this is the back of the house and she sat down before we got a picture, but that’s close enough, right?)

Can’t believe it’s been two wonderful years since this little girl wound us around her little finger for the first time! She displayed her newest camera “cheese” face the other day:

Here, I told Anna to be silly, because both of them were too tired and grumpy to smile any more.

Bedtime before the big day. This scene made my heart so glad!

We cleaned up the house… made a few snacks… baked a pie… and Papa made balloon hats too! They were so absurd and wonderful! lol

Almost everybody could come! (We missed you, Great Grandma Joan! Hope you are better soon!) Hudson even took some of his first confident steps while here! Thanks for coming, everybody! We love you so much! We love being around you too!

Maggie blew out her two candles like a pro. I love how her big sister is trying so hard to not help her blow them out…

I remember loving my Grandma especially for the gum or life savers in her purse. These kids love Grammy for her ipad games! hehehe

Jackson and Maggie playing in the bunk bed. “Maggie… don’t encourage Jackson to climb things like you!”

Life with Maggie… it’s full and wonderful, completely adorable… and a little crazy:

  1. Your home looks fun! Jordan is blessed. : )

  2. I love that her grandpa doesn’t even care that she climbs all over him while he reads. And I totally get the full heart feeling with the before bedtime with family on the couch picture. I think those moments help. Praying for you guys and Jordan!
