Professional nurser. (where you can find me off and on throughout the day) Look ma! No hands!
Anna the firegirl just got questioned by Jordan, the CIA spy.
Maggie (for reasons unknown to us) decided that she "don't wanna go!" and "don't want a costume!" and I don't remember how we talked her into going.
Brian had been rocking Carolyn... maybe reading a book too. Maybe just staring into space. I was laughing because I don't know why his arm got propped up that way.
Dipping caramel apples! I thought we were having fun until I saw the photo. 🙂
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
No picture of me - I was just the vine carrying the pumpkin. Brian...... was dressed by Anna.
I love your little family! Such cute pictures, and I can’t help but notice whenever you post pictures, your home is always so clean! How do you do it? Our three boys have toys scattered everywhere….
Neysa, I love it when people call my family little! How I do it: we moved from about 900 square feet to 1700 square feet. Everything looks clean, even when there’s a huge amount of cleaning to do. haha The only strategy I’ve implemented is that all the toys are in one corner of the house (literally – in big tubs) and whenever I find toys in other sections of the house, I kick or toss it in the general direction of toy central. Seems to help. 🙂
We’re just a typical, atypical family in the Pacific Northwest. We homeschool, love Jesus and are learning as we go.
We have three beautiful daughters, born in 2007, 2009 and 2012 and two handsome sons, born in 2009 and 2013. (My sons are Bulgarian – arriving home in 2011 and 2017. If you’re curious about Bulgarian adoptions, I blogged about our experience.).
After learning about the need for adoptive families of children with disabilities, (and here and here) we began the process to adopt our son Jordan (who has Down Syndrome). He arrived home on December 3rd, 2011!. We were in process for Daniel (who has arthrogryposis) January-October 2017. You can see photos from our trips to Bulgaria by looking at June and Nov/Dec 2011 archives and May and October 2017.
