Pictures!
We had such a special weekend with great grandparents and the kids. We were fed like kings and taken to parks. I even got a nap (or two?). I wish we could spend a lot more time with our grandparents.
At home – Jordan trying out standing on the paint can we use as a doorstop.
Papa put Carolyn in here.
Mama reading books.
Park!
Anna on the monkey bars for the FIRST TIME. Finally a park with low monkey bars.
She couldn’t let go, but she hung there for a minute before asking to be helped down!
Scary brave.
Happiest on a swing.
Great-Grandma Reta pushing Maggie in the adaptive swing.
Swing time with Great-Grandma Reta!
Oops – almost a sweet picture.
Jordan walking up and down on a play structure. Playgrounds are kinda stressful for him.
Great Grandpa Davis got some serious Carolyn love.
These girls love their Great-Grandpa Davis!
Jordan found a place to sit.
Sisters.
Aw – wish this had turned out better!
Sweet Gran reading to the girls.
I have a picture just like this, but it’s Grandpa holding Anna!
Gran looking out the window at something with the girls. I have this picture with Anna and Gran when Anna was just 10 months or so.
Maggie bought a dinosaur costume with her birthday money! She wore it ALL DAY that day.
So, so pleased with herself. (and so adorable!)
Maggie-dinosaur watching Anna play minecraft.
That’s a dog bone. I took it away.
My drummers. Notice the eye contact.
Drummers!
Pumpkin patch!
Super scary tree maze? 😉
Silly girls.
Jordan wasn’t very happy with the lack of structure or familiarity. Here he is escaping from me post haste.
Using the neat old-fashioned hand pumps to wash the pumpkins.
Maggie.
Anna.
Jordan.
Love love love love!! Thanks for sharing!
Loved these pictures! I laughed when I saw the dino costume because it reminded me of this post I read a few weeks back. I thought you’d get a laugh out of it too. http://www.hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2013/10/menace.html
