First of all, I’d like to share this small series I will title “Anna Fashion.” These are three outfits on three days. I could go on. I might. But she’s still in her pajamas today so far.
Tutu, sunglasses, rubber boots, winter coat – what’s not to love? (See the Word Whammer on the fridge that will teach her to spell eventually?)
Red fleece pants, pink inside-out dress, striped coat and pink Converse… oh yeah. (Clean laundry!)
Dressed for church. Mommy picked everything out… except the tights. (pop bought with coupon on the counter – need to find an occasion to drink it)
And how can it get better? Sunglasses, of course! (Grammy bought this purse with us two years ago for Anna’s 10 month pictures)
Last, but far from least, here is her hairdresser impersonation: (Razzie spends lots of time sleeping on the recliner)
If you were wondering, yes, I do go out in public with her looking like this. This is the only time in her life she gets to enjoy looking adorable and silly at the same time and I’m not one to stop her!
And now I want to move on to Easter and Anna’s third birthday! We celebrated both at the Davis’ on Easter Sunday this year. (We have another birthday planned for her and cousin Jackson next weekend)
The day before Easter. 🙂 (Diaper inserts drying by the fire – they came out of the dryer still damp)
Happy Birthday Anna!!!!
I’m three! (Forgot to get a picture of both girls in their Easter dresses. Oh well, they were cute!!!)
Hot-foot Maggie was still in her Easter dress!
And now moving on to Maggie, who is quite the mover these days! She is scooting! Only six months old. She floors me. Pun alert! She loves laying on her belly on the floor and she turns herself in circles to get to toys and pushes herself backwards. She’s pulled her legs up under herself some too, but if we lift her all the way onto her knees, she falls forward on her face. Soon we’ll have a crawler though!
What do you mean, this isn’t where you put me?
Sure Mom, I’ll come hug Maggie for the camera! Hey, she’s biting my arm! (Little opportunist)
I love my spitup encrusted kazoo!
We make this fridge look good just by standing next to it.
Yippeeee!
So cute in the carseat. How do people mistake me for a boy so often? I know the carseat is blue… but I’m not! (I wonder when she’ll grow out of this carseat?)
Grandma H – Anna got the birthday card in the mail! She was so FUNNY! She was enamored with the card “just for her” and “just for my birthday!” and hugged it to her chest and ran around talking about it for awhile before we told her she ought to open it. She loves the sparkly horsie inside even more and still treasures it. I bought a playdough press toy and some kids books with the money – thank you!!!
And now, for some movies!
Only half of what Anna says is English:
Ballerina Hairstylist Barbie Baby
Maggie had the giggles last night:
Kazoo videos are always in style (she gags herself at the end, but was over it quickly and played with it two move videos that I won’t post because they’re long!):
Tomorrow I’m having three other moms from a playgroup (who I hardly know) come over to fingerpaint. I hope it goes well! Also, my friend Sarai is in labor right now! I am huddling by the computer begging it for an update.
I have such cute granddaughters!! Thanks for posting the pictures and videos!
