Or babyaholic?

In any case – here’s more love of Anna:

Here’s one small shoe that is still too big:

Is there more where that came from?

Yes indeed, there is! After 5 trips to 3 different Targets and a smattering of other manufacturer’s coupons, I have somewhere between $150 and $250 of baby food for about $20. That makes me happy. I do hope Anna’s hungry! 😀 No worries, if Anna doesn’t eat it, I have enough connections to find other hungry babies when she’s through.

Hey, I’m not sure what type of food you bought, but I thought I would let you know that alot of baby food has been recalled. Here is a clip explaining which baby foods are recalled:

“Hain Celestial Group Inc., the biggest U.S. maker of organic foods, has recalled baby food because of concerns they may be contaminated with the bacteria that cause botulism, the Food and Drug Administration said.

The recalled jars are “Organic 2 Apple Peach Barley Wholesome Breakfast” in 4.5-ounce jars and 12-packs expiring Sept. 14, 2008, and variety packs of “Earth’s Best Organic 2 Wholesome Breakfast” expiring Sept. 13, 2008, the FDA said in a statement.”

Also, could you explain exactly how you use those coupons to get a good deal like you did? Maybe I am just too sleepy, but I just don’t get it!

Thanks Chelsea! The baby food is Gerber and mostly not organic….. and luckily not the same types either! Phew!

So here’s how you get the good deal. You print off say 50 of the dollar off two food item coupons. You buy 100 of the 2nd stage $.52 cent jars. That costs you $52.00. 50 coupons makes it $2.00.

If you buy something for more than $.52 each, then you don’t get quite as stunning a deal, but it’s pretty good anyway.

    Go to http://www.gerber.com/coupons and

for additional coupons. (that link doesn’t look quite right, but it’s what works for me) These additional coupons make it worthwhile to buy other than the one type of jars.

I am planning on making my own stage 1 stuff and stage 3 stuff is just like mashed table food. I got some cereal and also some finger foods with the other coupons for good prices. Seems some babies eat a jar or two a day and some eat 8 jars a day… (8 jars a day for 3 months is a whole lot of baby food!)

Have fun! Coupon expires Aug 15th I think and pick your cashier wisely – sometimes people have had some trouble, but I haven’t yet.
