Her name is Shreds. Cute, eh? 😀 Silly name for a declawed cat.

About Us
We’re just a typical, atypical family in the Pacific Northwest. We homeschool, love Jesus and are learning as we go.
We have three beautiful daughters, born in 2007, 2009 and 2012 and two handsome sons, born in 2009 and 2013. (My sons are Bulgarian – arriving home in 2011 and 2017. If you’re curious about Bulgarian adoptions, I blogged about our experience.).
After learning about the need for adoptive families of children with disabilities, (and here and here) we began the process to adopt our son Jordan (who has Down Syndrome). He arrived home on December 3rd, 2011!. We were in process for Daniel (who has arthrogryposis) January-October 2017. You can see photos from our trips to Bulgaria by looking at June and Nov/Dec 2011 archives and May and October 2017.

wowee wowee wow wow wow! terrific! how are raz and shred getting along? what does anna think of shred? is she an indoor, outdoor, or indoor/outdoor cat?

Excuse me???? You wouldn’t take one of our cats (cute cute kittens actually) but… you got a cat from someone else??? I’m…confused… bewilddered… hmmmm… hurt… Where did Shred come from?
So – more info. Anna likes to watch Shred, but Shreds doesn’t stay to entertain, but saunters around the house. Razzie likes Shreds, but has only gotten a few hisses out of her so far. She will be an indoor/outdoor cat. She loves to sleep on our bed. Yes, she sheds… maybe we will rename her?
And dearest mommy-in-law, we didn’t take one of your kitties because they’re semi-feral, unvaccinated, not litter-box trained kittens. This is a mellow, vaccinated, litter-box trained critter. She was free also (including her litter box, a bag of kitty litter, half a bag of food and some catnip toys).
You think she looks like Grandpa C.? Cool! I was thinking the other day that she looks like dad! (only cuter of course)
