The Day Before We Moved

We did all the final packing the day before we moved. It was a big day, but went really well. Thank you, Dad for coming and helping! Love you!

The evening before we moved. Makes me tired to just look at it.

Friends

When we went to a Bradley Childbirth Preparation class in 2006/2007 and met Josh and Chelsea, we had no idea we’d stay connected, that we’d both have four+ kids or that we would both adopt. Please support Josh and Chelsea’s family as they adopt a little boy from the same country as Jordan! They have a tax deductible account set up here if you would like to help them pay for adoption-related expenses.

Their family blog is here.

Really enjoyed our time with you!

Columbia Gorge Hike

Latourell Trail
About 2 miles round trip – somewhat steep – good trails, but hang onto little kids so they don’t fall off the edge! (And we turned back at the upper falls, we didn’t make the full loop)

This is what we did the last weekend before we moved:

Down to the parking lot. My left knee was pretty sore. Should probably do this sort of thing more often!

Welcome to the Davis Farm!

Davis farm = incredibly beautiful and peaceful.

Davis farm does not have a riding lawn mower yet.

Luckily, I have been really wanting the (imaginary) girl scout “Creative Mowing” patch for my (also imaginary) uniform.

Today, I succeeded.

Creative backyard mowing!

See the mower over by the shop? That's right - the shop and yard upsized dramatically, but the poor little mower was passed over when the fairy godmother was doling out growth spurts.

Front yard... 75% mowed. Was it worth it? I don't know! My legs look like they're covered in green hair.
