Good morning all!
I woke up very refreshed this morning… hopefully I can keep this up longer and longer each day. (by evening I’m pretty pooped!) Anna is doing wonderful and is so beautiful. I am healing rapidly and my sore back is finally easing. (It was bothering me more than my other aches most of the time) I am so excited to be on my feet this morning – Anna is fed, dressed, changed and rocking in her swing. I even started the laundry!
The only sad thing is that Brian is at work… but he is coming home very soon for lunch! Luckily, I slept through most of my first time away from my mainstay, support and first love.
Family has been incredibly supportive – thank you grandmas for all the help and love! Thanks to all the other visitors… it is fun to show off our amazing miracle – God is so good. The flowers that people have brought are a taste of the beautiful outdoors that I haven’t seen so much lately.
We both get pretty tired (Brian and I… maybe Anna too) and lean on each other and God to get us through the wee hours – whatever time of day they may come. Has anybody else noticed that day and night have gotten a little scrambled? So – 90% of the time, we are in heaven and 10% of the time we are wondering where this little sleepless creature came from and what to do about it.
We like visitors, but timing’s important, so just call before you head out.
