Morning at the Davis’

Good morning all!

I woke up very refreshed this morning… hopefully I can keep this up longer and longer each day. (by evening I’m pretty pooped!) Anna is doing wonderful and is so beautiful. I am healing rapidly and my sore back is finally easing. (It was bothering me more than my other aches most of the time) I am so excited to be on my feet this morning – Anna is fed, dressed, changed and rocking in her swing. I even started the laundry!

The only sad thing is that Brian is at work… but he is coming home very soon for lunch! Luckily, I slept through most of my first time away from my mainstay, support and first love.

Family has been incredibly supportive – thank you grandmas for all the help and love! Thanks to all the other visitors… it is fun to show off our amazing miracle – God is so good. The flowers that people have brought are a taste of the beautiful outdoors that I haven’t seen so much lately.

We both get pretty tired (Brian and I… maybe Anna too) and lean on each other and God to get us through the wee hours – whatever time of day they may come. Has anybody else noticed that day and night have gotten a little scrambled? So – 90% of the time, we are in heaven and 10% of the time we are wondering where this little sleepless creature came from and what to do about it. Brian and I are enjoying every minute together and are falling more in love with our daughter.

We like visitors, but timing’s important, so just call before you head out.
