Jordan is tanding next to his high chair, stuffing MULTIPLE CHEERIOS into his mouth and chewing and swallowing them.

Go, Jordan!!!! Way to take initiative in self-feeding and chewing and swallowing!!! You rock, boy!
We had a bit of awesomeness after lunch today when Niko was entertaining himself with a laundry basket and his shadow in a patch of sunlight on the floor. He was Mister Giggles which is rare for him. It was great to see him creating his own fun.
Wow! That’s great! We are still trying to get a crumb in Sophia’s mouth, but no success yet. She will only eat yogurt, oatmeal, cream of wheat and drinks a bottle of thickened juice or almond milk. She will not take unthickened liquids or eat anything that is not mushy — she not only won’t open her mouth for solid food, but she fights you the second she sees it coming. Was Jordan pretty much like that?
Sharon, Jordan decided he didn’t want anything to do with non-pureed foods! He is a little more explorative with strangers away from home (who knows why!), but yes – sounds just like Sophia in that regard. That’s one of the reasons it’s so huge that he’s going for it! No choking, no gagging, and he’s doing it himself! We did notice that small things (like cheerios or puffs) are best, since they don’t stick to his palette or leave a lot of stuff stuck in his teeth or cheeks.
Carol, Jordan LOVES shadows! If there’s nothing to do, but there is a sun spot… you can bet you’ll know where to find him!
