Warning: gross post!
I got the advanced poopy badge this morning! I thought I had been poop queen before, but I have definitely been exposed to new levels of poop this morning. I have been enjoying the fact that Anna doesn’t fill her diaper as frequently lately. (This is normal for breastmilk babies) and was even happy to miss a day for once! Ahhhh…. but it was not to be a fairy tale for much longer.
This morning I went to get my half-awake hungry daughter up for her first feeding… about 6:30. She seemed to be wet. But it was VERY WET and BROWN and NASTY SMELLING and she was laying in a PUDDLE!!! EEEeeeeeeeeWWWWWW!!!!!
I proceeded to strip her down using only the tips of my fingers as everything was coated in a layer of nasty, smelly poop. I think I used twenty wipes in order to “sponge bathe” my little munchkin who started smiling and cooing once she was in dry, clean clothes.
And no, she didn’t make a mess because her diaper wasn’t put on very well… it was just more poop, a profusion of poop I might say, that her diaper couldn’t handle.
I get a badge. I get a shower. I should get paid! (Thank you mom for taking care of ME – I’ll repay you by taking care of Anna… or something like that :-))
no more appropriate quote: “Icky Icky goo!”
ewwww…
Although I remember the one time I was changing my sisters diaper
and my sister was laying, facing towards me
annnnndd she let it go
and pooped all over my front.
It was sooo gross.
