First of all, I had my very first episode of false labor the other night! With Anna, I never thought I was in labor when I really wasn’t. It was rather exciting and then rather disappointing… I had contractions for over 8 hours and couldn’t sleep through a lot of it. It’s still really exciting to me though, actually. Before that, I couldn’t visualize actually going into labor. Now it’s finally gotten through to my brain that I WILL actually be having a baby soon. For real. And soon! I’m stoked. Yay for babies! We’ll be giving you all the news soon complete with pictures! It’s not too unlikely that I will go overdue (due date is this Saturday) but I don’t really “feel” like I will go way overdue. Even if I did… that’s not far away! Yippee!
Best friends aren’t afraid to make you look ridiculous and then take a picture of you:
They get along with your kids too… and bring you chocolate and let you eat it while they distract the kid(s).
She also scrubbed my bathtub, helped me cook, sewed up some hankies for me (gonna experiment with cloth tissues) and filled my conversation tank. I so needed that. It was so great to talk with you Hollie!
We got to see Anna’s great-Grandma this weekend! It was so much fun – all of us siblings were there and mom and dad and Grandma too!
Uncle Kevin was there too! (No, he doesn’t have a diagnosed mental condition… he just likes Frankenstein movies)
The growing family:
I’m putting this picture up, mostly because it’s so rare to see a picture without a child in it:
And finally, here is Anna looking absolutely adorable in the hat and scarf I picked up at Walgreens this morning when we went for a walk:
Here are two videos of Anna talking on the phone while her friend Phoenix was over for a visit:
“Hello? Where are you? Ok. Bye.”
Part two:
p.s. I bought candy corn at Walgreens. It is not good for me. And yet, it is soooo good for me.
AR MATEY! Where’s your stuffed parrot? That looks hysterical on you!!! 🙂 Too bad you won’t fit it quite that nicely come the 31st. 🙂 Maybe not too bad.
That’s so exciting!!!!!!!!!!! Have that baby Rachel!
Best Friends not only bring you cool clothes to wear, they also use your cloth toilet paper!
It was great to see you four (or is it three and a half?)!! Wish we could have been there to see miss Maggie… look forward to seeing the photos!!
