My friend Nikki tagged me. So… here we go (sorry for those of you who don’t get it.)
Here’s how it works:
1. Pick up the nearest book of 123 pages or more. No cheating!
2. Find page 123.
3. Find the first 5 sentences.
4. Post the next 3 sentences.
5. Tag 5 people.
I’ve got two books – let’s see which is more interesting:
With an Everlasting Love by Kay Arthur
In fact, he had recently heard that she was to be sold as a slave, and his plans were already made. He would buy her out of slavery, forgive her, and restore her to her rightful place at his side. That would prove his unconditional love!
The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage by Dr. Laura Schlessinger
Neither had to wonder or guess what is going on with the other, nor do they get confronted two years after the fact with ancient hurts that they cannot remember, much less defend. Once a problem is addressed and it is over, she explained, it is over. This makes for a relationship with a lot of security if each is mature, emotionally healthy, and generous enough to be willing and able to sustain themselves through the uncomfortable and unpleasant part of working something out.
I tag whoever feels like reposting!
i’ll respond in your comment section since i don’t want to bother going to my blog to do this…it’s past midnight.
Battle Ready, Tom Clancy
They always made their PT runs through the barracks areas at double time, chanting and making a lot of noise. The worked on their riot control formations on the camp’s big parade deck in an area that everybody could see. They’d set up barrels to stand in for rioters; then bring out the water cannon truck and hose down the barrels. (that was boring!)
Super Baby Food, Ruth Yaron
I feed my baby this meal in the morning at around 8-9 am, after I’ve gotten the older kids off to school. The baby can wait to eat his breakfast because the milk feeding he drank upon waking tides him through the early morning. The main meal includes egg yolk. (that was boring too!)
hmmm…i liked your proper care and feeding of marriage much better. 🙂 maybe i should pick that up to read next. 😀
