the return of rae

Our faithful hero has indeed returned!

Munching on leftover halloween candy and sitting on her beloved’s lap as he holds her down so that she will finally post again, she glares at the computer… and then stuffs more candy into her mouth.

Hi!

Well dear sirs and madams, we have been reading Ivanhoe with our spare time and have just started reading The Whole Life Adoption book or something like that. Both are marvelous! We have decided, to the relief I’m sure of our parents, that we are not in a position to pursue the adoption process itself at this time. However, we have also realized that we are not nearly well-enough informed on the subject either, so are beginning our education.

One thing we will have to do once we start the adoption process is a whole lot of self-examining for the benefit of our adoption agency. Yes, they will want to know things about us we hardly know ourselves. That is why, when I was at Barnes and Noble today after going for a doctor’s appointment (yes, I did!) I bought two books…. both are enormous, have many pages…. and have their stories unwritten. Umm… they are geneological-type-family-tree books – the ones that ask for lots of information about your family tree and then have another five chapters for descriptions about every aspect of your life and the life of our family. As we prepare for our quizzing by the adoption people, you can expect us to be asking you questions to fill in our books.

Ahem. Where was I? Can I put this tag again?

That was fun! Now what. I always do long posts because I do them every six of Brian’s. Besides, I can’t figure out this blog and don’t have the patience for fixing and uploading pictures for you. I depend on him for that. Do I type furiously? What does that mean to you, my faithful reader? Can you hear my fingers banging against the keys, furiously backspacing and retyping and clickity-clicking? I doubt it. I can, though. 🙂 Ha!

Emily called the other night and I didn’t get the call so we have begun another session of phone tag, methinks. I should call her back but I am just not very clear in brain and want to go clean up house some more instead. No, I want more candy. No… no more of that. How about a book?! I want to find out what is happening to poor ivanhoe and his family. OH!

Emily! Thank you! I look stunning in this new piece of my wardrobe and Brian likes it too! (A birthday gift which is a shirt that says I love my geek on it) Brian likes me wearing things that say I love him. Can’t say I love him too much! And it was quite appropriate today as he was playing a text base ancient game at the doctors office on his laptop while he waited for me today. Hmm – he needs a haircut. Anybody want to buy me some clippers for my birthday? *clears throat* Nah— i guess I can just go use my moms. 😉

Well, well, well – what is new. Today is a holiday which is why I am home! Yay!!! Next week I work six days. Blehhh. SHouldn’t be too terribly bad, though – only 37 hours. I am getting radically good at setting up trust accounts. I did an estate account the other day too – that is a sad subject though – estates usually are. SO let’s talk about something else. I am going shopping for a costume for Jennifer’s Christmas bash on Tuesday! Yah – I hope I find something gnarly-good. Spiffy. Grand. SUperb. I’m in a mood to watch Pride and Prejudice. I wonder if the new one that just came out (or will soon?) is any good. It’s a smash-bang-good story.

I’m going to go now. We had spaghetti on our cool new square plates! We bought five dinner plates and two salad plates. They are the ones we wanted when we were getting married but they were waaaaaaaaaaaaay on sale so we went to Meier and Frank and bought them. Have you ever thought about the way Meier is spelled? What a weird word.

Ok,
g’night
Miss you all – Thank you so much Emily! I will call… I will! Miss ya, Love ya,

zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well, you may consider yourself welcomed. Does it fit? It must, or you would have told me so. That’s the strange thing about ordering from the web…I mean, maybe their xxl fits like a medium or visaversa (which would be why yours wouldn’t fit…if it was the visaversa one.) But I am glad you like it. Your color and everything! I really wanted to get it for you.

the chocolates are too good. 😉 I’ve heard when your pregnant to eat a lot of it. I’m not going to save them till then. 😀 It’s a good thing Duke needs me to take him on walks. 🙂

WEll, I’ve gots ta go make lunch to take to Jakiepoo.
Thanks for taking the time to write to your adouring faithful fans.

hmm, it said there were none comments. HMPH! Well, just wanted to say that Duke and Pepper are the same size. The lab in him stunted the Dane in him, but the dane in him made stunted the rambunxiousness in him.
