Maggie – 13 months

Maggie is 13 1/2 months and had her well-visit today.

Where Anna is reserved and careful and shy at doctor visits, Maggie played peek-a-boo and did animal sounds for the doctor. I am certain Anna will do a better job keeping herself safe than Maggie. Just the same, Maggie was adorable.

Maggie is 29″ tall, which is the 25th percentile. She was closer to the 50th percentile last visit, so I am personally expecting a growth spurt soon. I am looking forward to that, this set of clothes is pretty horribly stained and worn after two girls going through toddler-hood in them.

Maggie is 18 lbs. 3 oz. which is holding steady at a whopping 5th percentile. Thank goodness she’s gained SOME weight! It’s nice to have a lightweight to throw around though, really. And she likes to be thrown around. Most generally, the wilder the better. I hope we have many years without trips to the ER. I can hope, can’t I?

Hmmm – maybe she WILL be a gymnast – (or a circus flying trapeze).
