October Complete

We have accomplished a full month of school! Whew. Feels good to be in a rhythm. It’s exciting to see Anna learning and it’s satisfying to have school successfully becoming a regular part of our days. I can see that over time I will need to put more time and more thought into schooling so that Anna gets a more rounded education. But, for now I feel like we are on track for a very successful first year. We do reading (both me and Anna), writing/penmanship, math, some piano and a little bit of science and a little bit of art.

The erupting volcano was one of Brian’s favorite science things as a kid. Actually, it looks like it is still one of his favorite science things. 🙂
